Event Details: 

This is going to be an evening show! We are going to make it "Retro Glow Show"! We want everyone to have a blast and dress up in their best retro style attire! We will provide glow sticks and fun decorations for the event as the sun goes down. Be prepared for awesome music and energy as we get after it!

Weigh-ins 

Friday December 2nd 9am-12noon & 3pm-6pm 

Saturday 4pm-5pm Prior to show 

*top 3 in open and first place in novice Qualifies you for nationals 2023* 

Spectators: $10 kids under 12 are FREE

No pets allowed in the gym 

We will have great raffles so be prepared to put in some raffles =] 

Parking: Please DO NOT park behind the gym, or in marked sections of the parking lot with cones. Please park along advance lane in front of the gym. 

Events: 

Sandbag Clean and Press rules-

1-60 second time limit hands starting OFF the bag 

2-Athlete can clean the bag however they want

3-press must show complete lock out of both elbows and head through for control 

4-Must wait for DOWN command before moving to the next bag (if bag is dropped before down command athlete will get no rep and have to clean and press again)

Allowed: grip shirts, sleeves, wraps, belts, chalk 

Not Allowed: tacky 

Axle Bar Deadlift For Reps Rules- 

competitor can strap in prior to the clock starting. Competitors will have 60 seconds to complete as many deadlift repetitions as possible. Only down commands will be given, but bouncing the weight off the ground will result in a no-rep. 

Allowed: All braces, belts, and wraps are allowed, straps are allowed, suits are allowed

Not allowed: tacky 

Bar: rogue axle bar 

Stone Over Bar Rules- 

Athletes will have 60 seconds to get as many stone over bar possible within the timeframe. 

Allowed: tacky towels, grip shirts, sleeves, wraps, belts, chalk 

Not Allowed: tacky Using your hands on the yoke to get the stone over. Must be a clean load! 

Height Men: 48'' Height Woman: 44'' 

Crucifix Carry (also know as Iron Cross, Magnusson or Barry Carry) Rules-

1. 60 sec time limit.
2. Total distance is 50’ (turns at the 25’ mark, one foot (the entire foot) must cross the 25' line before you return to the start).
3. Start with Crucifix Carry in the standing position. Hands on the cross arm.
4. On the command lift, you will lift it with your arms under the cross member. Must be carried in front of your body. At no point in time during the event can any part of the Crucifix be supported or carried over the shoulder. At no time can it be carried or picked from the bottom of the Crucifix Carry.
5. NO DROPS!
6. Crucifix Carry must remain in the up position at the end of your event. Time ends when both hands are overhead.
7. If you do not finish the 50’, distance will be measured.
8. If you cross the finish line and lift your hands overhead and the Crucifix Carry falls over a 10 sec penalty will be added.
9. Wrist / Knee wraps, belts, chalk  and USS approved grip shirts are allowed.

Farmers Hold for Time rules- 

Time starts when both pieces are off the ground. Time ends when one of the pieces hit the ground.

Weight is per hand, not combined.

Equipment Allowed: Chalk, Knee sleeves, Elbow sleeves, Wrist wraps, Elbow wraps, Knee wraps, Belts

Equipment NOT Allowed: Tacky or Towel Tacky, Supportive suits, built up belts, Straps, Figure 8 straps
