- Deadlift For Dylan In Honor Of SSgt Dylan Elchin
The Deadlift For Dylan event will be a rising bar max trap bar deadlift. The bar will be the MBPC TNT high handle bar. Belt and straps are allowed. All fingers must be in contact touching the bar no finger tip grips. Shoes must be worn. Belt, soft belt, and strongman shorts allowed. No deadlift suits. Each lifter will get three attempts in rising bar fashion. For men it will be meathead plate quarter jumps only. For women it will be 10's and 25's jumps. The TNT bar is 95 lbs so the plate quarter jumps will be + 50 lbs over a traditional bar. You will have 60 seconds to complete your attempt. If you do not complete you are out of the event regardless of how many attempts you have left. The bar weight will only go up, never down. The deadlift must be locked out and held until the head judge gives the down command. The bar must be lowered. If the bar is dropped the lift will not count. If the bar is not locked out on judges command the lift will not count.
- Press For Cole In Honor Of SSgt Cole Condiff
The Press For Cole event will be max reps in 60 seconds of anything goes axle overhead press. The lift will be from blocks at chest height. The lifter will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible on the judges start whistle. The lifter must wait for the down command each rep. The bar must break below the lifters chin each rep. Failure to lockout or go low enough will result in zero of that rep. As for the competition weight there will be a Vegas odds choice for the lifter. For the men 250 lbs = 3 points per rep, 225 lbs = 2 points per rep, 200 lbs = 1 point per rep. For the women 185 lbs = 3 points per rep, 145 lbs = 2 points per rep, 105 lbs = 1 point per rep. Anything goes to complete the rep, strict, push press, jerk, etc. You just have to gather your feet and center your stance to complete the repetition for point(s).
- Carry Heavy Sh*t Medley
The Carry Heavy Sh*t Medley will consist of three movements to mimic the different human carrying capacities of the high level operator and tactical professional. Carry one will be a farmers carry for 30 ft down and back (60 ft total). Men will carry 225 lbs on the 2" MBPC fat farmers handles. Women will carry 135 lbs on the traditional MBPC farmer handles. Carry two will be a keg carry 30 ft down and back (60 ft total) with the MBPC power keg. Men will carry 250 lbs. Women will carry 175 lbs. Carry three will be a sandbag on shoulder carry for max distance. Men will carry 220 lbs. Women will carry 140 lbs. You will receive final points on how far you carry the sandbag on shoulder after you complete the first two carry events. The distance will be where your feet stop not where the bag stops. No spastic unathletic throws of the sandbag needed upon failure. You will have 60 seconds to complete the event for max distance. One drop is allowed on the farmers walk, not including the turn at 30 ft. No drops allowed on the keg carry. Drop and you are done on the sandbag carry.
- Steel Ox Wheelbarrow Max Distance Sprint
The Steel Ox Max Distance Sprint will consist of as many 60 ft down and back shuttles as possible in 60 seconds. No drops are allowed in this event. You drop and you are out. As this event is the ultimate test of grip and endurance. You may reset on completed reps at the start line. But any drops in the down and back shuttle rep will complete your efforts in the event. The mens weight will be 720 lbs evenly placed on all four posts. The womens weight will be 460 lbs evenly placed on all four posts.
