WORLDS STRONGEST MANATEE V

World's Strongest Manatee returns bigger than ever - inside an NFL STADIUM! 

This event will take place on the field at Raymond James, as part of the WODWARS Fitness Festival - home to crossfit, arm wrestling, powerlifting,  vendors, food trucks, and much more!

Worlds Strongest Manatee V is a USS national qualifier for Charlotte NC June 28 2025. 
In the event 2025 nationals is full, you will qualify for 2026 nationals.

24 Hour Weigh Ins - There WILL be an IV station available at weigh-ins. Details coming soon!

EVENTS

LOG

Max Reps, 60 Seconds. Athlete will start standing behind the log with hands off. On the start command, athlete will step forward to begin. Any technique allowed (viper, push press, jerks, etc). NO resting of the log on the head. ALL reps must be cleaned from the floor. You MUST return the log to the crash pads. DO NOT free fall drop the log from the top of the repetition, at risk of being DQ'd from the event.

Repetition MUST be completed within the time frame (judge must give "DOWN" command before the 60 second time window expires).

Grip shirts allowed with the exception of Strongman Corporation Grip Shirts. All other brands allowed.

No tacky/sticky substances of any kind. Chalk allowed.

SANDBAG THROWS

Max Reps, 60 seconds. Athlete will begin with hands on the upright and on start command, proceed to the throwing sandbag to throw ONE bag as many times as possible over the uprights. Athlete is responsible for retrieving his or her own bag on each throw, whether successful or failed. It does not matter which side you throw from. Athlete will be allowed to position the bag in any orientation before they start the event, but it will have to be at least 10 feet away from the crossbars.

No sticky substances of any type allowed on event. Chalk allowed.

CARRY MEDLEY

STILL IN TESTING. THIS EVENT WILL FEATURE SLEDS AND SANDBAGS.

FARMERS 40

Athlete will complete one straightaway carry for 40 Meters / 132ft as fast as possilbe, OR, if athlete does not complete the course, a distance will be recorded for his or her score. Time will be recorded when ATHLETES BODY crosses the line. Unlimited Drops.

NO STRAPS OF ANY KIND! Chalk allowed.

Athletes will start with hands on the implements, and begin on a start command.

This event will be head to head with your class.

WILL DEVELOPMENT ATLAS STONES

Max Reps, Stone to Shoulder, in 60 seconds.  Tacky allowed. Grip Shirts Allowed.  No Strongman Corp Grip Shirts.

ONLY FOR THIS EVENT: If athlete has stone off the ground after 60 second window expires, he or she can complete the rep WITHIN 15 seconds.
