All athletes must have a valid 2024 USS Membership to compete!

This event will be outdoors and take place in the heart of the Firelands region in Downtown Norwalk, Ohio!

Weigh-ins: Friday April 12 from 9am-7pm at Norwalk Wellness Center located in the Heartland Plaza: 461 Milan Ave #8, Norwalk, OH 44857 and again on Saturday April 13 from 7am-8:30am at the event location Suhr Park in Downtown 35 W Main St, Norwalk, OH 44857

Weight classes are subject to being combined as needed. You will be notified in plenty of time if this is the case

Yokes and Farmer Handles will be provided by Madewell Strength Equipment. They will also be selling equipment at the competition. Please contact Doug Madewell if you would like to purchase any equipment, he will bring it with him to the event so you can leave with it!

Norwalk Wellness Center is offering packages as well as a-la-carte services for our competitors. They offer a variety of services including: Red Light Sauna (for those of you cutting weight), IVs to rehydrate after your cut (please call to schedule in advance!), Physical Therapists for any aches and pains you may be accumulating, and a Cryo Chamber! Join us at Bluto's Hometown Tavern for food and drinks following the competition. Located at 33 E Seminary St, Norwalk, OH 44857 (about two blocks from the competition location). They may even have a "strongman special" available!

Log Clean and Press for Reps: Athlete will have 60 seconds to clean and press/jerk/split jerk the log as many times as possible. Athlete must wait for the down call from the judge after each successful lift. Dropping the log from overhead will result in a zero for the event. The log may not rest on the athlete's head. Equipment allowed: Belts, wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, chalk, grip shirt. Not allowed: Tacky of any kind

Max Deadlift: Athlete will have 3 attempts, 60 seconds each attempt, to complete a max deadlift from a standard deadlift height. If the athlete misses a lift, they are done. This will be rising bar with 20lb jumps for women and 30lb jumps for men. The weight will not go back down! Athlete must wait for the down call from the judge after a successful lift. In the event of a tie, the athlete who opens with the heavier weight will be awarded the event. Equipment allowed: Straps, figure 8 straps, belts, suits, briefs, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, chalk. Not allowed: Sumo (hands must be outside of legs) Deadlift hooks/versa straps, gloves, tacky of any kind.

Yoke/Farmer Medley: Athlete will have 60 seconds to complete a 50' run with the yoke, turn around and bring the farmers handles back 50' to the starting position. If the athlete does not complete the full run within the allowed time, distance will be measured. No split times. Equipment allowed: Belts, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, wrist wraps, grip shirt, chalk. Not allowed: Straps of any kind, gloves, tacky of any kind.

Truck Pull: Athlete will have 45 seconds to complete a 50' truck pull with a lead rope. If athlete does not complete the pull in the allowed time, distance will be measured. BACKUP EVENT IN CASE OF WEATHER: 50' Arm-Over-Arm Sled Drag. Equipment allowed: Belts, gloves, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, chalk. Not allowed: Tacky of any kind

Atlas Stone Over Bar: Athlete will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible. Women's Height 44" Men's Height 48". Athletes cannot put their hands on the bar and push with their body. Equipment allowed: Belts, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, chalk, grip shirts, tacky, tacky towel. SOME OF STONES WILL BE MADE SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS COMPETITION, THEREFORE THE WEIGHTS ON THE MATRIX MAY NOT BE 100% EXACT. WE WILL GET THEM AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE, ONCE ALL OF THE STONES ARE MADE YOU WILL BE CONTACTED TO INFORM YOU THAT THE FINAL WEIGHTS ARE "SET IN STONE"
