Iron Podium Premium FAQ

  1. Do I have to subscribe to Iron Podium Premium to use Iron Podium?

    No, Iron Podium is staying exactly how it has been, with event registration, management and live scoring. All of the current Iron Podium features will still be available with no subscription. Iron Podium Premium includes all new, unique features that are separate from Iron Podium.

  2. How is my Podium Score Calculated?

    Your results for each individual event you've completed is compared to the results of the competitors you faced in your weight class at those same competitions giving you a Z score, or number above or below the average score for each event. Your Personal Performance Percentiles are then calculated based off of your Z score for each scoring format compared to every competitor on Iron Podium. You'll see percentiles broken down by events scored for weight, reps and time, as well as an Overall performance percentile that takes into account all types of events. We've given each category a points value based on importance and you'll receive a percentage of those points based on your performance. Those points combine with points given for participation statistics total your Podium Score which is out of 500 possible points. *Novice competitions are weighted at 30% less possible performance points.

  3. How often will my Podium Score Change?

    Every time you compete in a new event your results are input and will change your z-scores, changing your Podium Score. If you register for competitions or compete in more states your participation points could increase. Additionally, every time other Iron Podium users have new data entered your scores get compared to this new date resulting in updated Performance Percentiles. Statistically, your points have the ability to change every weekend after competition data is finalized. Check back often for your most up to date Podium Score.

  4. How do I cancel my Subscription?

    Simply go to the Manage Subscription tab on your account dashboard and click Cancel Subscription. You will not be billed for the follow month and you will maintain access to your Premium account until that date.

  5. Can I get a refund?

    No. Once you've purchase your membership or been charged your monthly fee we have provided you access to your data and will not offer any refunds. You can, however, simply cancel your subscription so you will not be billed again in the future.

  6. What if I don't want my name on the Leaderboard?

    Go to the Manage Subscription tab on your account dashboard in toggle the leaderboard to off.

  7. Where can I find my Premium Scoreboards?

    As soon as you become an Iron Podium Premium, member all of you scoreboards upgrade to Premium scoreboards and include dots next to athletes' names that indicate their Podium Level. You can find the scoreboards where you normally would under your upcoming or competed events on your Account Dashboard.

  8. Why can't I hide my level colored dot on the Premium Scoreboards?

    All data that contributes to your level is publicly available on the live event scoreboards, and therefore is public information. You can, however, turn off the Premium Scoreboard feature if you do not wish to view that information on your personal platform.

  9. What if someone isn't showing a dot next to their name?

    That means they were a manual entry by the Event Promoter for that competition and we do not have data or an account connected to that athlete.

  10. What if I think my Podium Score isn't accurate?

    We suggest starting by checking that your scores are on the scoreboards are accurate.

  11. What if my event data is inaccurate?

    We suggest starting with emailing the Event Promoter and asking what they can do to correct the errors.

  12. What if no scores were entered for an event I competed in?

    You have to go through the Event Promoter for that event to see if they have the data they can enter. Unfortunately, there will be situations where data is lost. We have contacted Event Promoters to let them know the importance of complete and accurate data entry going forward.

  13. I have two different accounts that have a completed event on them. Can I get my accounts merged?

  14. What about data for events that I competed in that were not on Iron Podium?

    All Podium Scores are based off data available on Iron Podium.
