Weigh-In Rules
- If you do not weigh in before the rules meetiing, you will not participate
- When you weigh in, please make sure you get your yoke pick height recorded for the yoke run event of the competition.
- Please message me if you cannot attend
Rules Meeting
- Rules Meeting will be from 9am - 9:30am
- Lifting begins after the Rules Meeting is over
Nationals Qualifications
- If there are 2-4 athletes in a class: 1st place qualifies for Nationals
- If there are 5-9 athletes in a class: 1st and 2nd place qualify for Nationals
- If there are 10+ athletes in a class: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place qualify for Nationals
Awards & Prizes
- Trophies for all competitors that podium (1st - 3rd place) in their respective weight classes
- Cash prizes for OPEN competitors that podium (1st - 3rd place) in their respective OPEN weight classes

Events
Max Clean & Log Press - Mike Bartos
- Press the log implement for a max weight
- Athlete will get 3 attempts to build up to a max log clean and press
- You have 30 seconds to make the attempt
- Wessels rules will be used
- If you fail your first attempt, you are DONE
- You can declare a rep as a warm-up rep, but please make sure your judge knows
- Once you pick your first weight for the scorekeeper, you CANNOT declare another warm up weight after that
- Your log press attempt will be counted when your judge sees the following:
- Full lock out on the press
- Feet stable
- Head through on the press
- Please make sure you wait for the down command for your judge
- If you do not wait for the down command, your lift will not be counted as a good rep
- If you attempt to press the log from your chest and the log rests on your head instead of completing the full locked out press, you will not be given a rep and you will be told to restart your attempt
- Any press variation can be used to press the log (split jerk, push jerk. viper press, strict press, etc)
- Women will be using the 10" Bartos Log
- Men will be using the 12" Bartos Log
- EQUIPMENT ALLOWED: Hard Belt, Soft Belt, Knee Sleeves, Elbow Sleeves, Wrist Wraps, Lifting Shoes, Chalk
- EQUIPMENT NOT ALLOWED: Tacky, Any Adhesive Substance,
Deadlift For Reps - Texas Power
- Max reps in 60 seconds
- You will be deadlifting with a Texas Power Deadlift Bar
- You will start with your hands off the implement until the judge's "go".
- We will declare a good rep and give you a "down" command when your judges sees the following:
- Knees are locked and stable
- Hips are through
- Shoulders are pinned
- You MUST wait for your down command or we will not give you the rep
- EQUIPMENT ALLOWED: Knee Sleeves, Knee Wraps, Hard Belts, Soft Belts, Briefs, Chalk, Straps Of Any Kind As Long As They Do Not Have A Metal Hook
- EQUIPMENT NOT ALLOWED: Tacky, Any Adhesive Substance, Suits
Yoke Run - Rogue
- Run the yoke implement 50ft down and 50ft back as fast as you can within 60 seconds
- All athletes must report their yoke pick heights during weigh-ins. Please make sure you pick your yoke heights accordingly.
- On the "go" command, athletes will attempt to stand with the yoke and walk it the designated distance. Once the front of the yoke passes the line for distance, the athlete will then set the yoke down, turn around, pick the yoke up, and return it the starting line. Time will stop when the front of the yoke passes the finish line.
- If the athlete finishes, time will be recorded
- If the athlete does not complete the course, distance will be recorded
- The athlete may start under the yoke
- You will have unlimited drops to finish the course or until time expires, meaning you will not be penalized by the number of times you drop the yoke
- Sliding the yoke will result in a 5 second penalty. The yoke must leave the ground completely to move
- EQUIPMENT ALLOWED: Hard Belt, Soft Belt, Briefs, Elbow Sleeves, Knee Sleeves, Wrist Wraps, Chalk, Grip Shirts
- EQUIPMENT NOT ALLOWED: Tacky, Any Adhesive Substance, Suits
Sandbag Toss For Reps - Cerberus
- Throw the sandbag over the throwing appartus for max reps in 60 seconds
- Athlete will be given 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible
- Athlete will start with their hand on the throwing appartus (the yoke handle). Once given the "go" command, the athlete will then retrieve the sandbag and attempt to throw the bag over the designated height.
- If the bag goes over, the athlete will then run to the other side and attempt to throw the bag back over
- If the bag does not go over, the athlete must stay on that side until completing the rep.
- Athletes will be required to retrieve their own bags during the duration of the event.
- Women's height will be 12 feet
- Men's height will be 15 feet
- EQUIPMENT ALLOWED: Hard Belt, Soft Belt, Wrist Wraps, Knee Sleeves, Elbow Sleeves, Briefs
- EQUIPMENT NOT ALLOWED: Versa Grips, Figure 8 Straps, Axle Straps, Barbell Straps, Oly Strap, Suits
Hercules Hold
- Hold for max time
- The athlete will grab onto both handles with the weight loaded and adjust until evenly set apart.
- The judge will ask and confirm readiness with the athlete.
- Once the athlete confirms, the clock will start and will not stop until either side of the implement touches the floor or the athlete lets go
- EQUIPMENT ALLOWED: Wrist Wraps, Knee Sleeves, Elbow Sleeves, Hard Belt, Soft Belts
- EQUIPMENT NOT ALLOWED: Tacky, Any Adhesive Substance, Tape
