Weigh Ins will be held from 3:00pm to 5:00pm May 18 or 8:00am to 9:00am day of event. Rules meeting will start promptly at 09:15am all athletes are required to attend. Warm ups will start at 0930am and first lifts at 10:00am
Late registrants may not receive a t shirt.
This competition is sanctioned with United States Strongman. Up to date memberships are required to compete.
Max 18" Double Overhand Axle Deadlift
-Event will follow a last person standing format
-Double Overhand grip must be used
-Weight listed is starting weight. Athlete may skip weight increments
-Weight will increase by 20# each round up to 335lb, then 10# jumps for men.
-Weight will increase by 15# each round up to 210lb, then 5# jumps for women.
-30 Second Time Limit Per Attempt
-Missing a weight attempt eliminates the athlete
-Shins must be covered
-Event is scored by which athlete successfully lifts the most weight
-Sumo Stance Not Allowed
Allowed: Belts, chalk
Not allowed: lifting straps, suits, briefs, tacky, liquid chalk
Max 2"x5" Saxon Bar Deadlift
-Event will follow a last person standing format
-Hands must both be over the top of the bar in a pinch grip. Wrapping fingers u seethe bar is not allowed even if fingers are long enough
-Weight listed is starting weight. Athlete may skip weight increments
-Weight will increase by 10# each round up to 165# then 5# increments for men
-Weight will increase by 10# each round up to 105# then 5# increments for women
-30 Second Time Limit Per Attempt
-Missing a weight attempt eliminates the athlete
-Shins must be covered
-Event is scored by which athlete successfully lifts the most weight
-Sumo and Conventional Stance Allowed
Allowed: Belts, chalk
Not allowed: lifting straps, suits, briefs, tacky, liquid chalk
Anvil Deadlift Ladder
-This event shall utilize a Rogue Anvil, an Ironmind Little Big Horn, Grabhold Horn and Mighty Mitts Anvil Trainer. Weights listed are in that order in lbs.
-upon completing final implement athlete may attempt as many repetitions as possible in the remaining time.
-if athlete misses a weight they may drop back down for additional reps on the heaviest implement they were successful at. 1 rep with a heavier implement beats any number of reps with a lighter implement.
-60 Second Time Limit Per Attempt
-Athlete must use only one hand to complete the lift
Allowed: Belts, chalk
Not allowed: lifting straps, suits, briefs, tacky, liquid chalk
Max Distance Farmers Walk
-This event will utilize rotating 1.25" handle farmers Walk Implements.
-Event will be scored by furthest distance
-Weight listed is per hand
-Turn at 25 feet
-No Drops, except at turn.
-60 second time limit
Allowed: Belts, chalk, sleeves
Not allowed: lifting straps, suits, briefs, tacky, liquid chalk
Front Hold
-Event will be scored by longest time. Time stops whenever athletes arms drop below parallel.
Implement will be a thick handled shackle loaded with chains
Allowed: Belts, chalk, sleeves, wrist wraps
Not allowed: lifting straps, suits, briefs, tacky, liquid chalk
Any ties in overall scores will be broken with a stub lift.
