Madam Oink's Testosterone Takedown
$80
Murray, UT
Check-ins/Weigh-ins will be on January 9th from 10 am - 12 pm and at 5pm - 7pm at The Sweaty Pig. All athletes must attend check ins to set their squat height, weigh in (if in a weight class), show their current Strongman Corporation membership, and pick up their competition shirt.
The competition will be January 10th, starting at 10 am. Athlete arrival begins as early as 8:30. If you show up before then, please stay in your car so the volunteers can effectively get everything set up. There will be a brief rules meeting at 9:30 am to go over any rules you failed to read. Spectator fee is $10 per person, children under age 12 are free.
SSB Prisoner Squat
Athletes will un-rack the bar and walk out and get set. Time won't start until the athlete begins their first rep. Athletes must hit parallel (hip crease and top of knee parallel) and depth will be determined by the head judge. If depth is not reached the judge will call out “NO REP” Athletes must wait for the down command to begin another rep. Athletes will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible. Once athletes rerack the weight, their attempt is over. We will be using a mono lift with safety straps as well as spotters. No suits, briefs, wraps or grip shirts allowed. Strongman shorts such as Cerberus, Odd Objects, Evolution are fine. One pair of knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, soft belt, hard belt are all allowed. Strongman Corp or Cerberus grip shirts allowed. If you have questions, please reach out.
Sandbag to Shoulder Medley
Athletes will have 60 seconds to lift 4 different sandbags to shoulder. If all 4 bags are not complete, athletes will get points for the bags completed. Time splits will be taken for each bag or a completed time. Sandbags will be judged strictly with the sandbag fully on the shoulder. If the sandbag is just high on the chest, that will be a no rep. Athletes must wait for the down command from the judge to receive the rep. No grips or sticky substance of any kind allowed. Chalk is fine.
Max Wheelbarrow
We will be using a Gorilla Strength Wheelbarrow. This will be a rising bar per class. Athletes will have 3 attempts to determine their max weight carry in 30’ with no drops. If you drop before the 30’ mark you will not receive the points for that weight. Athletes may try again at the same weight or go up a weight, but the weight will not go lower. Weight jumps are TBD. No sticky substance of any kind or any straps of any kind are allowed. Chalk and liquid chalk are allowed.
Axle Clean and Press for reps
Athletes will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible. We will be using a Rogue axle bar with Rogue Wagon Wheels. Athletes must clean and press every rep and guide the bar down (no releasing from overhead). Athletes must receive the down command to receive the rep. No sticky substance allowed. Chalk, grip shirts, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, one soft belt, one hard belt all allowed. Belt cleans are also allowed, as they should be.
Rising Bar Sandbag Over Bar
Each athlete will begin with loading the sandbag over the bar before moving onto the next round. With each round, the bar will get higher until there is only one left. Athletes cannot use their hands on the crossbar to push the bag over with their body. There will be a 30 second time cap for attempting to get the bag over. Starting height for every class will be 48 inches and increase by roughly 4 inches every round. No sticky substance allowed at all. No grip shirts. no straps.

- 5-9 athletes in a class: 1st and 2nd place qualify for Nationals
- 10+ athletes in a class: 1st-3rd place qualify for Nationals
