Welcome to the first Mile High Max Outs! This is a State Record Breaker Show only so there will be no national invites given due to you are not required to compete in each event and can choose what lifts you want to do.
Athletes will be emailed at sign up to get your events to compete in.
All events will be a rising bar format with present jumps (Until you get close to breaking a state record then you can call) Athletes will have 3 attempts if you fail you can go again but it must be in the next round. The only event that will stay the same is the farmers hold as it is a preset weight for max time.
Current State Records are listed in the weight matrix if there isn’t a weight then that record needs to be set.
Event 1 Choose your Press
Max Log C & P - 12" for men, 10" for women. 60 second time limit per attempt. 3 attempts. No built up belts. Feet parallel, knees and elbows locked, head through. No tacky.
Max Axle C & P - 60 second time limit per attempt. 3 attempts. Feet parallel, knees and elbows locked, head through. No tacky.
Max Circus Dumbbell -60 second time limit per attempt. 3 attempts. Two Arms to clean only One arm to press,Feet parallel, knees and elbows locked, head through. No tacky.
Event 2 Choose your Pull
Max Standard Deadlift - 60 second time limit per attempt 3 attempts. Straps and suits allowed. No sumo. Hitching allowed. Hips and knees locked.
Max 18 Inch Deadlift - 60 second time limit per attempt. 3 attempts. Straps and suits allowed. No sumo. Hitching allowed. 18" measured from the center of the bar to the floor. Power bar only, no deadlift bars. Hips and knees locked.
Event 3 Grip Event
Farmer Hold for Time - Max time. Time starts on lockout, ends when either implement hits the floor. Handle height will be 17" with a 1.25" diameter for handles. The numbers listed in the matrix will be the weight athletes will hold due to there being no records set for this event.
Event 4 Max Carry
Max Yoke - Athletes will carry Yoke for a total distance of 25ft. 3 attempts. No drops or sliding will be allowed.
