NORTH DAKOTA STRONGEST MAN & WOMAN XI
MAY 24th, 2025
This competition is licensed by Strongman Corporation. We have received approval from Strongman Corporation to offer this competition to both members and non-members of the federation. This means that athletes *for this show only* are not required to have a Strongman Corporation membership. Athletes who qualify for Nationals will need to purchase a membership before competing at Nationals.
2025 Strongman Corporation Nationals will be held in Las Vegas, NV on September 12th-13th. Qualifications are based on the number of athletes in each class on competition day and apply to OPEN CLASSES ONLY as follows:
- 1 athlete in a class: the promoter may merge the class with another class; if the athlete competes alone they will earn an invite by completing (i.e. not “zeroing”) at least 7 of the 9 events to the standards originally set forth by the promoter.
- 2-4 athletes in a class: 1st place qualifies for Nationals
- 5-9 athletes in a class: 1st and 2nd place qualify for Nationals
- 10+ athletes in a class: 1st-3rd place qualify for Nationals
Additionally, Masters Athletes qualify for America's Strongest Master by placing in the top 3 of a Masters class *or* in the top 5 of an Open class. Teens qualify for America's Strongest Teen by participating in a Teen, Novice, or Open division.
EVENT RULES and INFORMATION:
Athletes will be subject to single-elimination. Each event requirement must be met, as stated in the description and covered in the pre-competition rules meeting, to guarantee an athlete moves on to the next event. Failure to do so results in immediate elimination from the competition. Scoring will multiply per event. (Ex: event 1 is worth points earned x 1, event 2 is worth points earned x 2, etc.)
All teen and master's athletes please register under the middleweight divisions. There will be no separation of classes pertaining to age. Each division must have a minimum of 6 participants or classes will be merged. Each weight class will be capped at 20 athletes.
