Professional Strongman League u125kg Championship

$150

Irving, TX

Contest and weigh in information below

Weigh-ins: Weigh-ins will be held starting on 08/08/25 location TBD. You are required to

weigh at your weight class or .2kg over.  (we will be using KG’s for weight, not pounds here so adjust

scales accordingly) These will start 24-hours before the competition start time, which will be TBD

THERE WILL BE NO NUDE WEIGH-INS please plan accordingly.

***Our EMT on site reserves the right to stop any athlete from continuing a weight

cut if it is deemed to be unsafe and an emergency that they stop***

Rules Meeting: Will be held the evening before and

This meeting is mandatory for all competitors and failure to attend the rules meeting

will result in the athlete going 1st on each event during the competition day barring

any exception being made for emergency. Time will be TBD on 08/08/25 and we will

aim to be done within 25-30 minutes! You will have all the rules and details of events so

please ask as many questions ahead of time as possible! Some of your events will

be laser timed for the best possible accuracy, and some will be finished by hitting a

button at the end. This is to eliminate as much human error in time keeping and

keep things as fair and accurate as possible for you which is what you deserve. This

will be discussed during this time.

Scoring: Athletes will be scored against one another on each event, with the total

number of points available per event equaling the number of competitors. Example: if

there are 12 competitors, then the most points that can be scored would be 12. 1st

place would receive 12 points, and last place would receive 1 point. In the event an

athlete receives a zero for an event, that place will occupy last place instead of 1 point,

they will receive a 0. This means that second to last would then receive 2 points. If there

is a tie on an event, the points that the athletes would have received, will be added up

and then divided by total number of athletes.

Events: Couple of ground rules here that will apply to EVERY event of the weekend no

exceptions (unless it is atlas stones). No grip shirts, nothing sticky such as tacky, spray

tacky or anything of the like is allowed. Competition shirts with sleeves MUST be worn

at all times.

The rules here are written in a way that “this is all that is allowed” equipment wise. So

basically, if it’s listed, you can use it. If it is not listed, you can not use it. This should

prevent most of the “well I wasn’t told I can’t” kinds of things and keep everyone on the

same page. If you are caught breaking this rule and cheating, you will zero the event. If

you are caught cheating twice, you will be DQ’d from the competition. This has not

happened before, let’s keep it that way. For every event, when time is called, you are done. Any rep only partially finished will

not be counted, same with distance events, if you have not completed the required

distance in the allotted time, you will receive a distance for your score not a time.

For every event, athletes will start on a line a few feet from the implement unless noted

otherwise. This means ANY strapping in, or maneuvering of implements must be done

within the time limit of the event. We will be streaming this competition, so there are a few ground rules when you are

within earshot of a camera (Hint: they are very nice cameras and hear you from further

away than you think) there will be no expletive language (in any language) while on

camera. You will receive 1 warning for this, then you will zero the event. You are

professionals, this is part of it. We have yet to enforce this rule, and would like to

continue to keep it that way.

Event 1: Log Lift Ladder

Logs are custom made and will be 12inches in diameter

:60 time limit

Athlete will start on a line about 2-3 feet from the first log that will be sitting on crash pads. Athlete will then perform 2 clean and

presses on the first log, and then 2 clean and presses on the second log.

This event will be scored on reps with split times.

You can wear, one set of knee sleeves, one set of elbow sleeves, one set of wrist

wraps, one soft belt (neoprene), one additional belt that is no more than 13mm thick,

one pair of neoprene shorts, and 1 compression cuff is allowed on each elbow and

knee.

Event 2: Skidsteer Deadlift

:60 time limit

You will NOT receive an up command.

This will be setup like a front handle car deadlift with the bar 15inches off the ground

Athlete will start strapped into the bar and do as many reps as possible.

This event will be scored on reps alone not time.  So if you and another athlete tie at the same reps. , no matter the time taken to

get there, you will split points for the event.

You can wear,  one set of knee sleeves, one set of elbow sleeves, one set of wrist wraps, one soft belt (neoprene), one additional belt

that is no more than 13mm thick, one pair of neoprene shorts, and 1

compression cuff is allowed on each elbow and knee. 1 set of straps and briefs allowed.  ***Briefs, an example is SPUD INC Gateway

Briefs are allowed. If you have any questions if something will or will not be allowed, please message the

ProStrongmanLeague IG page or email Tyler@prostrongmanleague.com to get clarity. Basically if it has straps, or ever did have

straps it is not going to be allowed.***

Event 3: Conans Wheel

:60 time limit

Event is for max distance in the allotted time.

Athlete will start under the implement but not lifted off the ground. Pick and carry in a circle going EITHER direction the athlete

choses to go. No drops allowed, once it hits the ground you are done (we will have someone marking this). The only exception is

within the first 5 feet if you drop, you are allowed to re-pick.

You can wear, one set of knee sleeves, one set of elbow sleeves, one set of wrist

wraps, one soft belt (neoprene), one additional belt that is no more than 13mm thick,

one pair of neoprene shorts, and 1 compression cuff is allowed on each elbow and

knee.

Event 4: Wheelbarrow to arm over arm

:60 time limit

This event will be laser timed for splits and finish time.

Athlete will start on a line 2-3 feet from the wheelbarrow and once time starts will pick and carry the wheelbarrow 40ft down until it

crosses the line,  run back and pull a sled from the seated arm over arm position 40ft back until it crosses the laser. Unlimited picks for wheelbarrow will be allowed.

Athlete will  receive either a total distance or a time for this event. Slide penalties for the wheelbarror will be a 7 second penalty so

do not do it. A slide will be considered if the implement moves along the ground under the athletes control.

You can wear, one set of knee sleeves, one set of elbow sleeves, one set of wrist wraps,

one soft belt (neoprene), one additional belt that is no more than 13mm thick, one pair of

neoprene shorts, and 1 compression cuff is allowed on each elbow and knee.

Event 5: Super Yoke

This event will be laser timed

Athlete will start 2-3ft behind the yoke. Athlete will then pick and carry the yoke 40ft down until the ATHLETE crosses the line.

Unlimited drops allowed in this event. Same slide penalty rules as event 4. You can wear, one set of knee sleeves, one set of elbow

sleeves, one set of wrist wraps, one soft belt (neoprene), one additional belt that is no more than 13mm thick,

Event 6: Sandbag Gauntlet - we will be cutting to top 10 ONLY for this event

Sandbags will be Freedom Strength sandbags 52inch load height

:60 time limit. Time will END when your final bag hits the ground.

This event will have multiple rounds for time.

Bags will be line up 15 feet from the bar left to right standing straight up, and can be

carried in any order the athlete wants. This will be a knockout style event where the field

is halved each round. Of the 10 athletes in this event, we will be the top 5 times to the

next round (those knocked out will receive points according to their placing), and there

will then be 2 head to hear rounds, and then 1 person will go alone (the person with the

lowest score from the previous round), then we will take the top 2 times, and one more

round will be head to head for the winner of the round. Split times will be given on the

bags when the bag has successfully been loaded over the bar and all contact with it

from the athlete has stopped.

This contest will run pretty quickly, roughly 3.5 hours. Please be prepared and ready to

go when your name is called. We will have volunteers helping you keep track of time

and when you are going to be up next. If your name is called and you are nowhere to be

found, you will zero the event.

We are extremely excited and looking forward to having you all for this contest, and it

will be an awesome weekend! If you are able, plan to spend some time in the area as

there are endless activities to take advantage of! If you have any questions please feel
