Saturday 9-18-21 from 7:30-8:30 AM at Salado Fitness

Divisions: Weight classes/class sub divisions will be combined if there are less than 3 competitors signed up in a class.

Event Rules:

No deadlift suits may be worn in any event during this contest.

1.  Arm over Arm vehicle pull for distance w/60 second time limit.

• Course length is 50 feet.
• Competitors will pull from a secure platform.
• Score will be determined by time and then distance should the pull not be completed within 60 seconds.

2.  Head to Head Farmer's Carry

• Two competitors will be standing at the start line. (They may begin with their hands on the implements)
• When the competitors begin, they must carry the implement, in their own lane as fast as they can walk/run to the finish line.
• The time will stop as soon as both farmer's carry handles have completely passed the finish line and have been dropped.
• Chalk, wraps, sleeves, belts, and gloves are OK.
• No tacky, straps.

3.  Head to Head Log - full clean and press

• Two competitors will be facing the judge.
• Competitor will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps after being given the lift command from the judge.
• Competitor may begin with hands on the implement.
• Competitor will be required to clean the log each time and press for a rep.
• A completed rep will be given when implement is pressed fully over head with hips through, elbows and knees locked and head through.
• The competitor will receive a score of zero for the event if they "tree top" the implement. (Drop from overhead, lowering the implement must be controlled)
• Chalk, wraps, sleeves, belts, gloves and grip shirts are allowed. (no SC/OSG shirts)
• No tacky, straps.

4.  Husafell Carry

• Two competitors will stand at the starting line. (They may begin with their hands on the implements)
• Competitors will have 60 seconds to travel as far as possible with the implement.
• Time begins when judge says go and time ends as soon as the implement is dropped.
• The course is 50'. (Both feet must pass the line before the competitor may turn around and go back)
• Chalk, sleeves, belts, gloves, and grip shirts are allowed. (no SC/OSG shirts)
• No tacky, Tacky towel, knee/elbow straps.

5.  Wagon Wheel Axle deadlift for reps

• Two competitors will be facing the judge.
• Athletes may start with hands on the axle (strapped in).
• 60 second time limit from the judge's go command to deadlift the axle for max reps in the minute.
• Athletes will be given a down and up command (no touch and go).
• Straps, belt, knee/elbow sleeves, chalk, wrist wraps, hitching allowed.
• No suits allowed.

In the event of a tie within the top 3 in any weight class, we will conduct a farmer's carry for distance/time.  Salado fitness reserves the right to change the tie breaker based on the length of the contest and the condition of the athletes.
