Who‘s ready for 2nd annual Valhalla Classic?

Weigh ins will be held at Salem Power and Barbell Friday January 24th 9am-12pm and 5pm-7pm. Same day weigh ins will be 7:30am-8:30am.

Rules will start at 8:30am followed by a sharp 9:00am start time.

Spectators $5 entry at the door.

Please make sure USS Membership is up to date. 

Events:

Max Log

Wessels Rules. Three attempts. Athletes will have 30 seconds to clean and press 1 rep.

Women will be 10lb jumps

Men will be 20lb jumps

Wrist wraps, sleeves, grip shirts, belt and chalk are allowed.

Axle Bar Deadlift

Athletes will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible. Athletes will be given an “up” and “down“ command. NO tap and go. Axle bar will be pulled from floor.

Straps, sleeves, belt, chalk and hitching are allowed. Conventional only, no sumo.

Yoke/Sled Pull Medley 

Athletes will have 90 seconds to carry the yoke 30ft down as fast as possible then pull the sled by rope 30ft

Atlas Stone to Shoulder

Athletes will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible. Athletes must completely shoulder the stone and the down command will be given with one hand off the stone. 

Chalk, tacky towels, liquid/wet tacky and grip shirts are allowed. NO REGULAR TACKY.
