Walleye Weekend Strongest
Strongman/woman Competition
This year, we are honored to partner with Brad and Mandy Neitzel to present Brooke’s Battle 3, a strength competition held in loving memory of their daughter, Brooke.
Brooke was born a healthy baby girl, but at just four months old, she began experiencing persistent 105-degree fevers. After a month of hospitalization at Children’s Hospital, she was diagnosed with Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH)—a rare, life-threatening condition marked by severe immune system dysregulation, leading to malignant inflammation and multi-organ failure.
Brooke underwent a bone marrow transplant on December 30, 2022. Tragically, just weeks after her first birthday, she passed away on February 23, 2023. Despite her short time with us, Brooke’s story touched hundreds of thousands through social media, inspiring hope and resilience. The Neitzel family spent nine months living in the hospital and are now committed to supporting other families facing similar battles. 100% of the proceeds from Brooke’s Battle 3 will go directly to helping these families.
