Strength for a cause! Join us again on May 17th 2025 for the Ride for Life Strongman Open, hosted and sponsored by X-Factor Athletic Performance. Proceeds will benefit the fuzzy friends at Richmond Animal Care and Control. Spectator fee is $20 At the door, children 12 and under are free.

Weigh ins will be the morning of the event!

Events:

1. Sandbag Toss Over Bar

• 4 sandbags must be retrieved from the starting position and thrown over a bar in ascending order.
• For athletes that complete all 4 sandbags, ranking will be done by fastest times.
• Any sleeves or belts you feel you need are allowed.

2. Log Clean and Press

• Log must be cleaned and pressed overhead each time and the judge must give a down command upon lockout for a rep to count.
• Most reps within the time limit wins.
• Chalk, sleeves, wraps, and belts are all allowed.

3. Deadlift

• Deadlift must come from the floor and to a full lockout position.  Athletes must wait for a "down" command upon lockout for the rep to count. Reps must be started from a dead stop and bounced reps will not count.
• Chalk, straps, belts, and even deadlift suits are allowed.  If you choose to wear a deadlift suit, I will not help you in or out of it but I will definitely make fun of you before, during, and after your time wearing it.

4. Truck Pull

• Big moving truck provided by our friends at Forster's Plumbing and Heating.
• Get harnessed in, grab the rope tied to an anchor vehicle 50 feet away from you and go.  Fastest time wins.  Simple right?
• No equipment restrictions come to mind.
